The University of Macau (UM) and Dr. Stanley Ho Medical Development Foundation jointly held the 2022 Distinguished Scholars Forum as part of the \u2018Set Sail for New Horizons, Create the Future\u2019 grant. During the event, which combined both virtual and in-person elements, experts and scholars from China and abroad shared their latest research results in health sciences and big data medical applications. In his speech, UM Rector Yonghua Song said that the foundation provides MOP 1 million in sponsorship every year to support UM research staff in conducting scientific research and joining overseas exchanges and he expressed his gratitude to the foundation for its donation. Huen Wing Ming, chairman of the Board of Directors of the foundation, thanked the University of Macau Development Foundation and UM for making this sponsorship very meaningful.<\/p>\n
