Multilingual Symposia Video Indexing System

This Multilingual Symposia Video Indexing System is developed by the Stanley Ho Big Data Decision Analytics Research Centre at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. This system enables users to search from more than 100 video clips of medical talks presented at our Medical Symposium from 2007 till now with desktop computers, tablets or mobile phones.

All video clips are with subtitles in both English and Chinese. Users can input keyword in the “Keyword Search” box (e.g. diabetes, liver) and the System will search from all the video clips in the database and filter out the clips and the subtitles that match such keyword. Users can also search from the subtitles of a clip by inputting keyword into the box below the video and the System will filter out the sections where such keyword has appeared; or the users can simply scroll to the desired section in the subtitle box and then click the subtitles to play the clip from there.
