Stanley Ho Centre for Emerging Infectious Disease

Stanley Ho Centre for Emerging Infectious Disease was established in October 2003 with a mission to enhance the control of emerging infectious diseases locally, nationally, regionally and globally by providing training on infectious disease control to health care professional and researchers. The Centre puts together an interdisciplinary group with expertise in epidemiology, microbiology, clinical medicine and health economics to strengthen infectious disease preparedness of the society.

The Director of the Institute is Professor David Shu-Cheong Hui.
